Be prepared for initial fear to go up soon after you get service and be aware that there is a $200 early termination fee if you terminate before 3 year period!!! Is not hassle or worry free. Strong misrepresentatiin of services offered at beginning. Sorry I bought the pitch at the onset. Would rate it a big fat zero if possible:(

This app does exactly what it said it would. It is very simple to use interface and with the ability to add customer info directly from contacts, the job of collecting monies is even easier. Setup was a piece of cake and took less than 5 minutes, and only took that long as I had to look up my merchant info. The only thing I wish it could do was take debit cards with a pin as they are much cheaper to process than normal credit cards, but i guess you cant have it all!

It is so convenient to have the ability the charge my clients when Im on the road. Live this ap!

Boring interface but the company is great to deal with. My business def benefits from this. I had an account prior to the iPhone version coming out, and I was happy with itransact and npc before, and Im still very satisfied!

This app is very good. Easy to setup and works flawlessly! Cant wait for swiped ..but I hope the price is better than I was told. I use a pogo stylus for phone signatures. Customer service is great (thanks Troy) and so far so good!

I tried several CC processing apps, and landed on this one as being the best choice for a number of reasons. The interface is simple, clean and functional - much better than some of the alternatives I tried. Also, the hardware card reader was an important feature we absolutely needed. There are several flavors of these iPhone CC readers coming available now, but this solution gave us the best built-in functionality with a good app, and a convenient reader. Many hardware readers are only designed to work with an iPhone, but were using the app in our tradeshow booth with an iPod Touch. By default the reader fits onto the iPod touch, but very loosely. They recently finished a hardware adaptor for this, which they have offered to ship directly to us at no charge. Each time Ive contacted the company with some questions, Ive received a prompt reply from friendly folks. This seems like an especially distinguishing quality of this company, and is something you should definitely consider. I love that you can void transactions easily directly in the app. Great for testing your own card! :) The email receipts are also very nice looking, without a bunch of cheesy branding about their app. Other apps add that to their email receipts, which devalues my own companys brand. iMerchant seems to have things figured out on many levels! For those of you with Authorize.net accounts, I verified the app works just fine when keying in cards. Take note that if you want to use the hardware swiper, youll need the transaction to run through the NMI Gateway. So the swiper wont automatically configure with your pre-existing Authorize.net account. For us, this actually works out better though since well be using a new merchant account that Troy setup for us on a seasonal basis, which will get better "card present" rates than our current Authorize.net gateway used for our webstore. Initially I didnt want to deal with another merchant account, but they made the process simple, and well be saving money on our live transactions now - plus doing them a WHOLE lot faster thanks to the swiper and this app!

This is a great app I own a limousine service in Fl and the app has work for me and my drivers they all have iPhones and iPads and they use this app for my customers and even they are impress how simple the transaction was the only thing is missing iPhone 4 swipe gadget ...

Working excellent for me in a cafe environment allowing my waiters and waitresses to accept payment tableside. Not a POS solution though.

It will work with your existing merchant acct but you will need their gateway service if you arent signed up with them so that costs extra.

This app has solved my credit card acceptance hurdle for my massage therapy practice. I use it on my ipod 4G and it works just as it says. The only reason I didnt give it a five star is because I still have yet to receive the card reader that was promised me upon signing up. BUMMER! The customer service guy Ive been working with (Troy) has decided not to return my emails or phone call inquiries concerning the reader. Very frustrating.

Cliff is a credit to this company. During a trial of this app in conjunction with a Linea Pro sled ( what the Mac store uses), a small glitch was found. After bringing to Cliffs attention, not only did we receive a reply immediately but the issue was corrected and communication between Cliff and our end was much more than expected. The only thing that would make this a total replacement of todays tabletop pos systems would be back end functionality of a preset menu or list of items for sale managed per device or per batch of devices. In closing Cliff and this app get 5 stars at this point since it went from an app with issues to a total solution for one of our clients !!

Seamless, dependable operation. Works every time & very intuitive interface. I just received the imag4, which is a great add-on that lets you swipe credit cards to. Imerchant has worked great since day one, and now with imag4 its even better.

I needed an app for my hair salon. Its so easy to use! In the salon we use an iPad, iPhone, and itouch. They all work great! I especially love the tip line. I would recommend this to anyone!

Great tool for business.

App itself is decent, but support is horrible. I purchased this app sent the required email and made the phone calls. Nobody returned my call for 4 days, when they finally did I was told someone else would call me to gather the necessary info. Another 3 days and finally a call back, also I never received the card reader itself!

Got the app and reader and love how easy it is to take transactions and I get my money so much faster than Square or PayPal. Really like the option for adding more info to orders such as email, phone #, order #, etc. No complaints on the service either, very helpful an knowledgeable!

This app works every single time Ive used it. I have zero complaints. So happy itransact made this partnership. They should charge $5-10 for it rather than a buck. Couldnt be happier.
